JIJ and Q-CTRL Receive Outstanding Research Award at NEDO Challenge Season 1
JIJ and Q-CTRL received the Outstanding Research Award at NEDO Challenge Season 1 for their joint research on distribution network reconfiguration, a complex power-grid optimization problem.
The two companies developed a hybrid quantum-classical workflow and tested it on real quantum hardware, exploring how quantum computing can be applied to practical power-grid optimization.
The question is not simply what quantum computing can do, but where it can make a meaningful difference in real-world systems.
This work represents another step toward understanding how quantum technologies can be applied to real industrial challenges. JIJ will continue advancing research and collaboration with partners across the quantum ecosystem.
