JIJ Benchmarks Its Quantum Optimization Method Using QOBLIB and Is Referenced in IBM Quantum Blog
2026/8/21JIJ has submitted benchmark results for its quantum optimization method to QOBLIB (Quantum Optimization Benchmarking Library), an open benchmarking library for evaluating and comparing quantum and classical optimization methods.
As part of our ongoing development efforts, we benchmarked our method using a subset of problem instances from QOBLIB and shared the results with the IBM Quantum team. The benchmark results were also submitted to QOBLIB, where JIJ is listed as one of the contributing organizations.
In connection with this effort, IBM Quantum recently published a technical blog on QOBLIB and mentioned JIJ among the organizations that submitted new benchmark results.
Shared benchmarks such as QOBLIB provide a common basis for comparing optimization methods under consistent problem settings and evaluation criteria. For JIJ, using these benchmarks is an important part of understanding the performance and characteristics of our method through transparent and comparable evaluation.
We will continue to develop and evaluate our quantum optimization technology while participating in open benchmarking efforts within the broader quantum optimization community.
