Hiro Nakata Appointed to the Steering Committee for QuIC’s QBC Summit 2026

JIJ Inc. announces that Hiro Nakata, Chief Operating Officer of JIJ Inc. and Chief Executive Officer of JIJ Europe Ltd., has been appointed to the Steering Committee for QBC Summit 2026, the annual summit of the European Quantum Industry Consortium (QuIC).

QBC Summit 2026 will take place on 3–4 November 2026 in Paris-Saclay, France. The members-only summit brings together companies, researchers, policymakers and other stakeholders to discuss the industrial adoption and commercialisation of quantum technologies across Europe.

The Steering Committee includes representatives from across the quantum ecosystem. As a committee member, Hiro will support the organisation and delivery of QBC Summit 2026.

Since joining QuIC in 2024, JIJ has expanded its activities in Europe through its UK and German subsidiaries, its membership of UKQuantum, and research initiatives with organisations including the UK’s National Quantum Computing Centre, ORCA Computing and bp.

JIJ will continue to strengthen its engagement with organisations across the European quantum ecosystem.
