JIJ Inc., a leading quantum optimization company, has appointed Daniel Ceglinski as Head of Partnerships and Business Development, Europe, effective May 15, 2026.Daniel joins JIJ after four years at the German Aerospace Center’s Quantum Computing Initiative, where he served as Project Manager and contributed to one of Europe’s major national quantum computing programs. He holds an M.Sc. in Physics and brings deep insight into the quantum computing ecosystem, spanning research institutions, government programs, and industrial adoption.With a strong scientific background, project leadership experience, and close familiarity with Japan, Daniel is well positioned to support JIJ’s growth in Europe. Following his studies, he spent 18 months in Japan, developing a strong understanding of Japanese culture and professional-level Japanese proficiency. This background enables him to connect JIJ’s headquarters in Tokyo with key partners and stakeholders across the region.In his new role, Daniel will lead JIJ’s partnership and business development activities in Europe, working with research institutions, industry partners, enterprises, and public-sector stakeholders.
