Jij Announces Joint Research Paper with Toyota Motor Corporation

Jij, Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Yu Yamashiro) has announced the publication of a research paper detailing the results of a joint project with Toyota Motor Corporation.

We enhanced the Factorization Machine Annealing (FMA) framework and applied it to the search for transparent conducting films—key materials for next-generation displays and solar cells. Benchmark tests confirmed that the improved FMA identifies promising candidates more efficiently than conventional methods.

Our next step is to scale this method to larger, experimentally realistic problems to further accelerate materials discovery.
